I have been working in sport fishing for nearly ten years now, in the world of magazines, books, television and consultancy. My words and photographs are published in fishing magazines around the world. Dorling Kindersley published my first worldwide fishing book in 2003, called Adventure Fishing.

Somehow I fell into presenting fishing programmes on television and up to now there have been three Henry Gilbey fishing series unleashed upon the unsuspecting fishing world (Fishing with Henry, Fishing on the Edge and Wild Fishing, to be transmitted from November 2005). Shown on Discovery RealTime (previously Home & Leisure) in the UK and on various Discovery networks around the world, and for some strange reason a few people watch them !! Huge thanks for all support.

Fishing photography and the subsequent feature/book work is my driving passion and I am totally dedicated to trying to give fishing the positive and inspirational coverage it deserves. Nobody is ever bigger than the sport and we owe it to the future of sport fishing to make it look good.
